This semester I will be following closely the articles and passages of the online journal Film-Philosophy.

Tyler -
Interesting choice. Can I ask: why did you select it?
And can I also ask: : you didn't happen to see the Philosophy Dept.'s presentation of "The Man Who Wasn't There," did you?
As I wrote to one of your classmates, who also picked this site, I'll be interested in reading your posts, reading the connections between film and philosophy and your takes on them. Wondering: do you think only narrative film fosters philosophical discussion? Can something non-narrative, dare I say it, experimental also be related to philosophy? Also - what do you think is the difference between film theory & philosophy?
All to say - I look forward to your posts.Be sure to check out the D2L site for guidelines for the next round of blogs, which are due BY October 29.
